How long have you lived/worked in the area?
12 years
Life Story: Short version of where you’re originally from, where you grew up, other places/states/countries you’ve lived in, and what led you to this career.
Well, I was not born in Texas, however, I came here as fast as I could, over thirty five years ago. I came here from Poland, via Germany. I share my life with my beautiful wife Hanna. We have three sons and five grandkids. And of course our little companion called Ace – the smallest/biggest dog on the block.
What was your biggest challenge when starting this career?
Make a decision to do it
What is the hardest and the best part of your work?
I enjoy working with people and see them prosper. There is nothing hard about it.
Who is your ideal customer/client?
Anyone who is a big dreamer, loves travel, loves shopping – never paying full retail price whenever legally possible.
What’s your favorite thing in the area? To-do, restaurants, places?
It is like country side with a big city flavor. My favorite place in Roanoke is Inzo Italian Restaurant.
What do you see/What would you like to see in the future for the area?
I would keep it the way it is, however, the dynamic growth is inevitable.
If we come across each other in the town, where would we be and what would you be doing?
It would be on famous Oak Street, enjoying food and talking to people.
What’s something about you that would surprise most people?
I am an ordained Metaphysical Minister.
If you could advise yourself back when you were 20, what would you say?
Keep charging forward and never give up.
