How long have you lived/worked in the area? Almost 8 years
Life Story: Short version of where you’re originally from, where you grew up, other places/states/countries you’ve lived in, and what led you to this career.
I grew up in Forest Lake, Minnesota until the age of 16 when I moved to DFW area. I graduated high school from Sam Houston HS in Arlington and then went to Texas Tech University and majored in International Economics with a minor in German. I studied German overseas on two occasions during college, once in Austria and once in the former East Germany. I also got to explore quite a bit of Europe while I was there. Once I graduated, I worked for an exporting company for while and then got a great job in sales selling industrial cleaning and maintenance products to businesses in Dallas area. I was very successful at that job, but when I had my first child, the Lord called me to quit and be home with him. So I was a stay at home mom for 13 years and I homeschooled 3 of those years. I am very active in my church and in my pursuit of God, which is of the utmost importance to me! Once my kids went back to public school, I was out of a job as a homeschooler, so I decided to go back to school to be a travel designer. I have always LOVED travel! It has always been my thing! Now I’ve been doing it almost 6 years and have enjoyed working with my clients, as well as traveling and exploring new places myself. Since I started my business, I have had the privilege of exploring China, Fiji, Italy, Mexico, Canada, France, Germany, England, Israel, Jordan, Spain, Jamaica, Bahamas, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Palma de Mallorca and Haiti.

I love to learn about new destinations and meet new people! The hardest part is when things don’t go as I planned. 🙁

Don’t sweat the small stuff!
Who is your ideal customer/client?
A client who loves to vacation, but hates the planning part! I provide a service that saves lots of time for my clients.
What’s your favorite thing in the area? To-do, restaurants, places?
There are still cows in fields here! And I love the restaurants! 🙂
What do you see/What would you like to see in the future for the area?
A Marketstreet Grocery store!
If we come across each other in the town, where would we be and what would you be doing?
Eating at a restaurants on Oak Street or grocery shopping.

I was in the Goin’ Band from Raiderland at Texas Tech when I was there!
